ইদ-উল-আজ্হা : ত্যাগ ও কোরবানির মহিমা ইদ-উল-আজ্হা মুসলমানদের অন্যতম প্রধান ধর্মীয় উৎসব। আরবি ভাষায় "আজ্হা" অর্থ হলো ত্যাগ, আর "ইদ" অর্থ হলো আনন্দের দিন। তাই ইদ-উল-আজ্হা হলো ত্যাগ ও কোরবানির দিন, যা প্রতি বছর হজের সময় পালিত হয়। এই উৎসবটির মূল শিক্ষা হলো আত্মত্যাগ, বিশ্বাস, এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি নিষ্ঠা।  ইদ-উল-আজ্হার পেছনের গল্প আসে ইসলামের অন্যতম নবী হজরত ইব্রাহিম (আ.) এবং তার পুত্র হজরত ইসমাইল (আ.) এর জীবন থেকে। কোরআনের বর্ণনা অনুযায়ী, আল্লাহ ইব্রাহিমকে তার সবচেয়ে প্রিয় বস্তু কোরবানি করার নির্দেশ দেন। ইব্রাহিম তার প্রিয় পুত্র ইসমাইলকে কোরবানি করতে প্রস্তুত হন। যখন তিনি ইসমাইলকে কোরবানি করতে যাচ্ছিলেন, তখন আল্লাহ তার বিশ্বাস ও আনুগত্যের পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ বলে একটি দুম্বা কোরবানির জন্য পাঠান। এই ঘটনার স্মৃতিতে মুসলমানরা প্রতি বছর ইদ-উল-আজ্হা পালন করে। ইদ-উল-আজ্হার দিন সকালে ঈদের নামাজ আদায় করা হয়। নামাজ শেষে মুসলমানরা তাদের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী পশু কোরবানি করে। সাধারণত গরু, ছাগল, ভেড়া, অথবা উট কোরবানি করা হয়। কোরবানির মাংস তিন ভাগে ভাগ করা হয়: এক ভাগ
